Purchasing Coordinator

The Purchasing Coordinator role is onsite in Gardena, CA, with pay of $27–$32 per hour. Air Fayre’s airline catering operation relies on this role to coordinate replenishment and product availability across its 24/7 operation. The role supports purchasing, operations, inventory teams, and suppliers by processing orders, tracking deliveries, maintaining records, and helping set inventory and replenishment levels to reduce shortages, surplus, waste, and shrinkage.

What you'll do

• Process replenishment orders for materials, supplies, equipment, and airline catering products
• compile item, supplier, and quantity information
• create and submit purchase orders
• monitor supplier confirmations, shipments, and delivery dates
• follow up on open orders and alert operations to shortages or delays. Maintain purchasing and inventory records, help establish target inventory and safety stock, coordinate orders across product categories, review inventory trends, and maintain supplier and internal relationships.
