Job overview

The Community Work Incentives Coordinator (CWIC) works onsite in Saint Louis, MO, at $19–$21 per hour. Paraquad champions equity and independence for people with disabilities through services, education, partnerships, and advocacy. The CWIC helps Social Security disability beneficiaries understand how employment may affect their benefits and supports their return-to-work efforts. The role provides individualized benefits analysis and counseling, helps resolve benefits issues, maintains compliant case records, and coordinates with community partners and beneficiaries’ support teams.

What you'll do

  • Conduct beneficiary intakes and verify federal, state, and local benefits
  • analyze how work affects benefits and prepare customized Benefits Summary and Analysis reports
  • explain analyses accessibly
  • help beneficiaries use work incentives, resolve benefits issues, and report income
  • refer and coordinate to address employment barriers
  • provide long-term follow-up
  • maintain case files and accurate service records in accordance with SSA and HIPAA requirements
  • support outreach and education
  • build relationships with SSA offices, Vocational Rehabilitation, employment support providers, and the Family Support Division.

Why this role

Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or equivalent education and experience, plus two years working with people with disabilities. Current CWIC certification preferred; provisional certification requirements may be completed within three months and full certification within one year. Occasional evening or weekend availability is encouraged.
