The Assistant Store Manager role is onsite in Georgetown, TX. Compensation is $62,000 per year. The assistant manager is second in charge and supports the successful operation and profitability of a Natural Grocers store. The role leads and develops store personnel, supports customer service and daily operations, and monitors sales, inventory, product mix, food safety, and store performance. The assistant manager helps ensure the store is staffed, stocked, safe, and ready to serve customers.

What you'll do

• Greet and serve customers according to company standards
• handle customer complaints
• maintain an inviting, shoppable store and in-stock products
• spend at least 75% of time on the sales floor assisting customers and staff
• train and hold staff accountable for customer service and food safety
• monitor sales, labor ratios, average ticket, customer count, produce cost of goods, and EBITDA
• manage ordering, product mix, perishables, and markdowns
• assist with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and staff development
• complete operational tasks, reports, and cash procedures
• work evenings and weekends as store needs require.
