What you'll do

• Provide individual and group psychosocial rehabilitation services connected to client treatment plans
• teach, model, practice, cue, and reinforce practical recovery and daily-living skills
• help clients strengthen coping, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• support healthy routines and break goals into achievable steps
• practice skills in office and community settings when appropriate
• collaborate with the treatment team
• promptly communicate relapse risks, safety concerns, or significant changes
• complete timely and accurate documentation
• participate in supervision, training, and professional development.

Why this role

Candidates must meet an approved Utah Medicaid provider qualification pathway, which may include Utah SSW licensure, a qualifying bachelor’s degree while working toward Utah SSW licensure, an applicable Utah substance use disorder counselor credential, or the trained-individual pathway with required training and supervision. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for community-based services as needed.
