Drilling Fluids Specialist

The Drilling Fluids Specialist works onsite in Midland, TX; compensation is $20–$23.44 per hour, plus a stated $30-per-day per diem. The role supports oil and gas drilling operations by monitoring and optimizing drilling fluids at rig sites.

What you'll do

• Test and monitor drilling-fluid properties, including viscosity, density, and weight
• calculate and direct chemical-additive mixes in response to changing pressure or formations
• manage onsite product inventory and coordinate deliveries
• follow environmental and safety requirements for waste disposal and hazard mitigation
• and prepare daily mud reports for company representatives and drilling engineers. The posting requires at least five years of experience and Mud School.
