HVAC/Refrigeration Technician

Job overview

The HVAC/Refrigeration Technician role is onsite in Buckeye, AZ. Pay is $30–$40 per hour. The position supports Wendy’s food-service locations by maintaining equipment that helps stores operate smoothly. The technician services, repairs, installs, and relocates refrigeration and food-service equipment, troubleshooting related electrical, heating, and plumbing systems. The work helps maintain safe, functional equipment across the district and may include assisting with other maintenance tasks when food-service support is not needed.

What you'll do

• Service and maintain refrigeration equipment, including walk-in freezers, refrigerators, and coolers
• replace belts and service motors, controls, and refrigerant systems
• maintain dishwashers, water heaters, steam kettles, cookers, mixers, ovens, gas valves, pilot lights, thermocouples, heating and refrigeration units, fans, and electrical cords
• install and relocate food-service equipment and appliances
• may lead others, requisition materials, keep time and materials records, and oversee user maintenance
• may assist with other district maintenance work.
