The Medical Assistant – Pediatrics role is onsite in Fort Worth, TX, with stated pay of $17.00–$19.50 per hour. Shine Pediatrics & Wellness Center provides individualized, holistic healthcare for children and encourages parents to participate in care decisions. The assistant supports clinical visits and office operations by preparing patients, documenting care, performing tests and procedures, responding to patient communications, and helping families understand care steps.

What you'll do

• Prepare patients for exams and labs
• take and document vital signs in the EMR
• perform blood draws, urine collections, specialty testing, vaccinations, and EKGs
• answer back-office patient messages and calls
• stock and clean exam rooms
• educate parents about the practice’s care philosophy and steps
• cross-train in the front office.

Why this role

CMA or RMA certification and experience as a medical assistant, including phlebotomy and injections, are required. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:45 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
