Baird 4 is the only floor outside the ICU caring for adults dependent on tracheostomies and ventilators, making the role part of a broad general medicine service.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care to patients with acute and chronic multisystem health needs on Baird 4, including patients with respiratory, renal, diabetes, wound-care, substance-use, gastrointestinal, coagulation, and infectious conditions
• care for tracheostomy- and ventilator-dependent adults outside the ICU
• maintain current RN licensure recognized by Vermont and meet unit experience requirements.
