The Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor role is onsite in New York, NY, with stated pay of $27.47 per hour. The role supports clients’ treatment needs and program goals through clinical services, documentation, and coordination with relevant resources.

What you'll do

• Conduct scheduled individual, group, and family counseling
• obtain weekly random urine samples according to protocol
• orient clients to program goals, rules, rights, and operations
• apply group-work techniques and treatment planning
• document services
• educate clients about alcohol and drug abuse
• maintain referral resources and make referrals when appropriate
• prepare monthly or as-needed legal reports.
