Community Awareness Educator

Job overview

The Community Awareness Educator role is onsite in Logan, UT. Pay is $19–$22 per hour. CAPSA provides confidential support to people affected by domestic violence and sexual abuse and works on prevention across Cache Valley and the Bear Lake area. The educator advances prevention through community presentations, youth leadership, outreach, and partnerships. As lead advisor for CAPSA Youth Council, the role supports young people’s leadership and coordinates education and events that connect the community with prevention information and resources.

What you'll do

• Advise CAPSA Youth Council
• coordinate meetings and events and track participation
• deliver prevention and community education presentations
• build relationships with schools and community partners
• coordinate outreach and prevention initiatives
• support Friends Night Out
• coordinate financial empowerment presentations
• manage event logistics, materials, volunteers, and follow-up
• co-manage CAPSA Teens social media
• track participation and outcomes
• maintain documentation and scheduling.
