The System Integrator — Aircraft Avionics role is onsite in Ridgecrest, CA, and pays $150,000–$180,000 annually. Saalex provides technical support for customer mission requirements, including aircraft avionics integration and flight-test operations. The working supervisor leads technical personnel and coordinates day-to-day operations and flight-test assets. The role supports aircraft integration, modification, reconfiguration, and readiness while maintaining safety, quality, and Naval Aviation requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise avionics systems integration and operations personnel
• direct daily work to meet contract and customer requirements
• make technical and staffing allocation decisions
• coordinate flight-test assets and support activities
• ensure compliance with safety, security, quality assurance, and Naval Aviation requirements, including NAMP and NAVAIRINST 3710.1
• oversee aircraft engineering, modification, integration, and reconfiguration work
• support flight-test operations, off-site detachments, and fleet requirements as mission needs dictate
• perform and oversee F-35 integration and operations
• analyze data and review processes
• advise government and contractor leadership
• identify technical and quality issues and support corrective actions
• prepare technical reports and program documentation. Active Secret clearance required.
