The 3rd Shift Youth Treatment Specialist – Residential Behavioral Health role is onsite in Grand Rapids, MI, with pay of $20.50–$22.50 per hour. The schedule is four weeknights and every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday, from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The role supports Wedgwood Christian Services’ Crossroads Program for boys ages 12–17. The position provides direct residential care and a structured overnight environment, helping youth build safety, emotional regulation, resilience, and daily living skills. It contributes to the program through consistent supervision, therapeutic support, and accurate documentation.

What you'll do

• Conduct bed checks at least every 15 minutes
• document checks, observations, and resident behaviors
• maintain a calm, structured overnight environment
• build supportive relationships
• use verbal de-escalation, crisis intervention, and safe physical interventions when necessary
• support social, emotional, and daily living skills
• assist with light meal preparation and household tasks
• administer medications as assigned
• provide basic first aid and coordinate with medical personnel
• transport residents as required
• ensure access to clothing and personal care items
• follow program policies and documentation standards.
