Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

The Emergency Medical Technician role is onsite in Chelsea, MA, serving the Boston area. Compensation is $23 to $30 per hour. CATALDO Ambulance Service provides emergency and non-emergency medical response and transport. The EMT responds to people requiring medical services, assesses injuries and illnesses, provides basic life support, and transports patients safely. Accurate care documentation, vehicle and equipment readiness, and coordination with patients and other emergency and healthcare personnel support reliable prehospital care.

What you'll do

• Respond to requests for emergent and non-emergent medical services
• assess injuries and illnesses and provide basic life support in accordance with statewide protocols
• operate ambulances safely
• inspect and clean assigned vehicles and equipment and maintain required stock
• document patient care and submit required PCR paperwork daily
• communicate professionally with patients, EMS agencies, physicians, hospital personnel, emergency service providers, and the public
• attend required training and maintain certifications.

Why this role
