The Drafter — Manufactured Homes role is full-time and onsite in Waterville, NY. Pay is $18–$25 per hour. The role exists to turn sketches, specifications, and engineering information into model and detailed construction drawings. These drawings and related calculations support home designs, production coordination, and approval submissions.

What you'll do

• Create designs from rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and engineering data
• draft detailed construction drawings for homes and installations
• use CAD equipment and software
• prepare limited approvals and submit them to sales and third-party agencies
• confer with Production and Quality Control staff to resolve design details
• modify home arrangements and system interconnections
• generate calculations using approved software.

Why this role

Requires an associate degree with advanced AutoCAD training, two to five years of AutoCAD work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training. AutoCAD 2015 or higher and Microsoft Office Suite experience are listed qualifications.
