Instructional Designer

The Instructional Designer role is hybrid in San Jose, CA. Pay is $40–$42 per hour for a five-month project. The designer supports the development of learning and training content for business objectives and learner engagement. The role exists to turn learning needs into effective digital and virtual training experiences. It contributes by designing courses and job aids, collaborating with subject matter experts, maintaining content in the learning management system, and incorporating feedback while meeting branding, accessibility, and quality standards.

What you'll do

• Design e-learning courses, instructor-led materials, job aids, and other learning resources
• apply adult learning principles
• collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts
• build content with Articulate Storyline and/or Rise
• use AI-enabled tools where appropriate (preferred, not required)
• upload, test, and maintain LMS content
• incorporate review feedback and meet branding, accessibility, and quality standards.
