Job overview

The Network Administrator role is onsite at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC, with ad hoc telework noted. Pay is $118,000–$120,000 per year. The role supports network operations at the site and requires an active Department of Defense Secret clearance. The role maintains secure network availability by monitoring systems, troubleshooting and escalating issues, applying security updates and standards, and supporting classified and unclassified network equipment. It also provides technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and participates in the required on-call rotation.

What you'll do

• Monitor networks and resolve or escalate issues
• troubleshoot using scripts and standard procedures
• coordinate with higher-level support during outages
• process authorized service interruptions as directed
• maintain network security posture, including updates and DISA STIGs
• configure and troubleshoot TACLANEs and HAIPE devices
• analyze packet captures and root causes
• maintain network diagrams, procedures, and compliance artifacts
• support projects and daily operations
• mentor junior engineers
• participate in the on-call rotation.
