The Facilities/Maintenance Technician role is onsite in East Syracuse, NY, with pay of $19 per hour. The position supports NYCANNA, LLC, DBA The Botanist, a cannabis business operating within Canopy USA’s multi-state organization. The technician maintains a clean, efficient, and operational cultivation facility through sanitation, inspections, and repairs. The role supports facility operations by addressing maintenance needs, keeping records, and coordinating with supervisors, vendors, and contractors when needed.

What you'll do

• Perform daily sanitation and restock personal protective equipment and facility supplies
• complete minor building and equipment repairs, including grow lights, fans, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work
• assist with major repairs under Facilities Manager supervision
• safely use tools, vehicles, and supplies
• install and maintain equipment as directed
• troubleshoot minor maintenance issues
• follow maintenance schedules
• coordinate outside maintenance when needed
• complete occasional custodial tasks and wash and sort employee uniforms
• maintain repair and maintenance records
• report system failures and facility damage
• complete checklists and follow facility procedures and safety programs.
