Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coach — Part-Time

The Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coach — Part-Time role is onsite, with possible bases in San Diego, Orange County, San Fernando Valley/Ventura County, or Pleasanton, CA. The position is 16 hours per week and may require travel up to 75% of the time, mainly in Southern California. Compensation is not specified. The coach partners with a full-time Clinical Coach to support clinical staff and patient care outcomes. The coach provides clinical guidance and mentorship, supports staff development and protocol implementation, and helps maintain regulatory compliance across skilled nursing and residential care settings. The role also supports audits, surveys, electronic medical record processes, and interim Director of Nursing coverage when needed.

What you'll do

• Maintain knowledge of and support compliance with federal and state resident-care regulations
• troubleshoot with operations and facility leaders
• support nursing staff development and clinical protocols
• audit nursing records
• assist with nurse-management applicant screening
• support survey preparation and corrective action plans
• maintain confidentiality
• support electronic medical record implementation, audits, and action plans
• serve as a temporary interim Director of Nursing during vacancies or extended leaves.
