What you'll do

• Assist with investigating utility systems and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and piping problems
• repair pumps, motors, and related equipment as directed
• assist with utility improvements
• follow equipment and vehicle maintenance schedules
• maintain work orders and records
• assist with facility maintenance, meter reading, cleaning, painting, and material handling as needed
• inspect lift stations, manholes, and fire hydrants and document findings
• respond to designated emergency calls.
