Certified/Registered Dental Assistant

The Certified/Registered Dental Assistant position is onsite in Chicago, IL, with compensation of $20–$22 per hour. What you'll do

• Greet patients and answer phones
• schedule and cancel appointments
• follow dentist directives
• complete electronic charting and treatment planning
• process insurance forms and billing records
• refer patients to other health center services
• manage supplies and inventory
• prepare operatories and assist chairside
• perform coronal polishing and sealant duties as directed
• expose and develop radiographs and perform delegated procedures within applicable law
• sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards
• maintain patient records and assist with administrative functions.

Why this role

Requires high school graduation or GED, at least two years of dental-setting experience, coronal polisher/dental sealant certificate, CPR certification, computer literacy, and English/Spanish bilingual ability. Dental Assistant school is preferred but not required.
