What you'll do

• Collect family histories and review relevant medical records
• educate patients about hereditary conditions, inheritance, risks, and guidelines
• discuss genetic testing options, obtain informed consent, and communicate results
• identify potential genetic risks to family members and recommend counseling or testing
• document cases and clinical notes
• provide referrals
• collaborate with the healthcare team on counseling, testing, and care plans
• participate in professional development and process improvement.
