What you'll do

• Assist residents with self-administration of prescribed medications according to the five rights
• document medication administration, refusals, and changes in resident condition in the MAR and facility records
• report adverse reactions, medication errors, and health changes
• maintain medication inventory, storage, labeling, and disposal
• track physician orders and refills and communicate with pharmacies
• assist with assigned ADLs
• monitor resident safety and behavior
• follow infection control, emergency, and confidentiality policies.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of state-approved Medication Technician/Medication Aide training.
