The Medical Assistant, Florence Clinic role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with compensation of $23.50–$23.75 per hour. Under the Clinic Manager’s supervision, the medical assistant supports basic nursing care and clinic administration. The role helps maintain patient flow, assists with procedures under licensed medical direction, and keeps patient records and documentation accurate.

What you'll do

• Support patient flow by greeting patients, locating charts in the EMR, managing appointments, answering calls, and directing patients
• assist with staff training
• take and record vital signs
• perform phlebotomy and collect, label, package, and send specimens
• administer immunizations
• assist providers with examinations and procedures
• maintain patient records and documentation
• perform clerical duties and participate in team meetings and continuing education.
