What you'll do
- The MRI Technologist performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies.
- The MRI Tech presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.
- Compassionately assist and position patients.
- Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
- Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
- Release patients with proper post procedure instructions.
- Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
