The Behavior Specialist 1:1 is an onsite role based in Belvidere Center, VT, supporting the Special Education team at ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education. Compensation is $23 - $28/hour, and this position focuses on providing direct, individualized behavioral support to students in a high school environment. This role exists to improve academic, social-emotional, and behavioral outcomes for students by implementing positive behavior intervention plans. The specialist works proactively to de-escalate challenging behaviors and serves as a first responder in crisis situations to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.

What you'll do

• Implement individualized behavior interventions, reinforce positive student behavior, maintain accurate behavioral records, collect and analyze behavioral data, collaborate with IEP teams, provide crisis intervention, and assist with classroom management tasks.
