The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer role is an onsite, full-time position in North Las Vegas, NV, paying $42–$48 per hour. The sonographer works collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. The role exists to produce high-quality ultrasound images that help physicians diagnose and monitor medical conditions. It contributes to timely clinical decisions by performing ordered examinations, assessing image quality, documenting findings, and maintaining patient safety and accurate records.

What you'll do

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and imaging protocols
• conduct applicable abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, breast, small-parts, pediatric, musculoskeletal, and echocardiography studies
• review orders and medical histories
• explain procedures and position patients
• assess image quality and document abnormal findings for physician interpretation
• maintain EMR and PACS records
• operate and check ultrasound equipment
• follow infection prevention, patient safety, and HIPAA guidelines
• participate in evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as required.
