Maintenance Technician — Twin Cities Travel

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite, based in Golden Valley, MN, and travels among multiple properties within a selected Twin Cities zone. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with limited nights and weekends for an on-call rotation. Pay is $26–$32 per hour. The roving technician provides maintenance coverage across properties, completing repairs, preventive maintenance, and rent-ready work. The role supports property standards, resident service, and continuity of building operations, including responding to emergency calls during the on-call rotation.

What you'll do

• Travel to multiple properties to provide maintenance coverage
• rotate on-call and respond to emergency calls within 30 minutes
• monitor and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and boilers
• assist with inspections and preventive maintenance
• support technical training
• collaborate with vendors
• maintain tools and supplies
• report urgent issues
• comply with safety and housing laws
• and submit assignment summaries.

Why this role

Hiring pay range is $26–$32 per hour. Required credentials include a Certified Pool Operator’s license, Special Class boiler license, and Type II EPA refrigerant certification within six months of hire. Mileage reimbursement is included.
