Material Planner

Job overview

The Material Planner role is onsite in Detroit, MI. Compensation is specified as $75,000 per year. What you'll do

• Import and update customer releases
• set up new-part scheduling parameters in the ERP system
• maintain production bills of materials and coordinate reviews with Program Engineering
• analyze customer schedules and flag capacity or lead-time issues
• manage assigned parts and suppliers
• analyze MRP and issue supplier releases
• coordinate material expedites, engineering changes, and build schedules
• investigate inventory discrepancies
• track consigned inventory and returnable dunnage
• prepare shipping and customs documentation
• enter daily scrap and receiving data
• manage delivery issues with customer contacts.
