The Milieu Lead position is onsite at Nexus Family Healing’s Austin Campus in Austin, MN. Compensation is $21.73–$23.23 per hour. Nexus Family Healing is a nonprofit mental health network providing outpatient and community mental health services, foster care, adoption, and residential treatment for children and families. The lead coordinates daily residential programming and shift activities to maintain a safe, productive, and therapeutic environment. Through direct youth care, staff coaching, and collaboration with clinical teams and families, the role supports trauma-informed treatment and the needs of youth in the milieu.

What you'll do

• Lead daily shift activities and decision-making
• mentor and model trauma-informed practices for Youth Care Professionals
• support client safety and a clean, respectful therapeutic environment
• direct youth routines and staff deployment
• participate in treatment planning and therapeutic services
• coach de-escalation and appropriate interventions
• collaborate with families and clinical teams
• ensure safety, licensing, regulatory, accreditation, and documentation requirements are met
• conduct debriefings after significant events.
