Assistant Chief Engineer

The Assistant Chief Engineer role is onsite in Miami, FL. Compensation is not specified. This role leads the engineering team’s daily work and supports the Chief Engineer in operating the property. It helps keep building systems maintained, safe, and reliable through preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, vendor coordination, and emergency response.

What you'll do

• Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive maintenance
• support contractors, vendors, and building personnel
• respond to tenant requests and make repairs
• review building and tenant alterations
• maintain building plans, equipment specifications, manuals, records, and spare-parts inventory
• operate and maintain HVAC and other building systems
• respond to emergencies
• support budget tracking and maintenance work orders
• coordinate projects and vendors
• perform inspections
• cover Chief Engineer functions in their absence.
