What you'll do

• Answer patient calls
• take vitals
• obtain authorizations
• schedule diagnostic tests and surgery
• prepare exam rooms
• assist physicians with procedures as needed, including wax removal, biopsies, and surgical procedures
• obtain proper consent
• call in prescriptions
• clean and sterilize instruments according to CDC and practice guidelines
• and brief physicians on patients before exams.
