The stated annual base pay range is $128,000–$160,000. Lyft’s Dynamic Pricing & Offer Selection team sets ride prices using real-time and historical data while balancing prices and ETAs for riders. This role develops and evaluates scalable dynamic pricing models, using analysis, statistical and machine-learning methods, optimization, and experiments to inform launch decisions. It contributes to Lyft’s pricing and marketplace goals by working with Product, Engineering, and other teams to turn research into production systems and guide future roadmaps.

What you'll do

• Formalize pricing problems mathematically and in business context
• analyze data to identify root causes
• develop statistical, machine-learning, or optimization models
• write production code and collaborate with Software Engineers to ship models
• design and run simulated and live experiments
• analyze results to support launch decisions
• communicate findings to Product, Engineering, and executive audiences.
