The Lead Artificial Intelligence Engineer and Architect role is hybrid in Washington, DC, with three days per week onsite; compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Lead architecture, design, integration, deployment, and technical oversight for generative AI, LLM, RAG, agentic, and AI-enabled automation solutions
• define reusable engineering standards and architecture patterns
• document architecture decisions
• support multimodal AI evaluation, security, and privacy controls
• prepare model and service approval requests
• lead Authority to Operate work under the NIST Risk Management Framework
• oversee AI security, red teaming, incident response, data architecture, model evaluation, MLOps, and operational readiness
• lead responsible AI reviews
• mentor engineers and review code and prompts
• advise government stakeholders and brief technical decisions.
