What you'll do

• Receive, scan, interpret, and validate prescriptions and patient information
• review dosage, interactions, contraindications, and therapeutic appropriateness
• prepare and dispense medications, including compounding if required
• perform final pharmacist verification
• counsel patients on medication use and side effects
• provide medication therapy management
• support medication transitions before discharge
• document medication adjustments, recommendations, and counseling in electronic health records.
