What you'll do

• Provide confidential, short-term, solution-focused non-medical counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups
• teach coping and problem-solving strategies
• provide psychoeducational information
• conduct walk-around services and outreach
• deliver briefings and presentations
• support family readiness and reintegration activities
• maintain knowledge of military and community resources
• verify eligibility and explain confidentiality limits
• make referrals and warm handoffs
• follow mandated reporting and imminent-risk procedures.
