The Machine Operator role is onsite in Winston-Salem, NC. Compensation is $24.75–$32.25 per hour. The role supports FMI’s Manufacturing Team in producing advanced fabric and fiber-based materials for high-performance applications, including aerospace and defense uses.

What you'll do

• Read work instructions and production specifications
• operate, set up, adjust, and shut down equipment processing yarns, fibers, and fabrics
• monitor material flow and product quality
• stage materials
• conduct inspections and document results
• perform basic equipment checks and report mechanical issues
• operate winding, spooling, and material-handling systems
• maintain a safe, clean work area and support continuous improvement.
