What you'll do
- Prepare patients for procedures
- providing instructions in order to obtain desired results, gain cooperation and minimize anxiety. Complete required documentation on forms, logs, work station and Meditech. Administer contrast using proper technique. Produce scans of optimal diagnostic quality on patients. Label images and identify according to protocol. Communicate pertinent information to interpreting radiologist in a timely manner.
What we're looking for
- Education
- Graduate of an educational program in radiology or MRI accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) OR graduate of an American Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology or MRI OR an American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMIT) degree program OR military training program of equivalent standards.
- Experience
