What you'll do

• Provide customer service to patrons, visitors, and staff
• monitor library access points and activity
• conduct armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter
• respond to disturbances, medical events, and critical situations
• prepare incident reports and communicate observations to leadership and client contacts.

Why this role

Requires at least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience; an Armed Guard Card or license; age 21 or older; and a high school diploma or equivalent. Schedule includes Wednesday 10:15 a.m.–8:15 p.m. and Friday through Sunday 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
