Maintenance Planner

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the planner coordinates facility maintenance work between Operations and Maintenance. By preparing executable work packages, organizing labor and materials, and monitoring maintenance performance, the role aims to reduce delays and costs while supporting equipment reliability and product output.

What you'll do

• Prepare and update work packages, job plans, and equipment data
• train team members on work processes and system data capture
• generate requisitions for specialty tools, materials, and contractor services
• coordinate maintenance history records in the CMMS or database
• manage the planning backlog and facilitate work-priority meetings
• ensure maintenance orders are properly closed and review plan-versus-actual results
• coordinate materials with purchasing
• determine work readiness for scheduling
• monitor maintenance program effectiveness and support continuous improvement and capital expenditure planning.
