The Patient Account Biller role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with compensation of $22–$28.33 per hour. The position supports the Health Services Billing Team at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, whose mission is to help LGBT people thrive as healthy, equal, and complete members of society. The biller provides administrative and clerical support through charge and payment entry, account reconciliation, claims follow-up, and denial management. The role helps maintain accurate patient accounts and respond to billing questions in support of the Center’s health services.

What you'll do

• Enter charges and payments, code and reconcile cash, process refunds, generate and transmit patient statements and notices, monitor insurance assignments, follow up on claims, and manage denials.
• Respond to billing questions and complaints, document outcomes in AllScriptsPM, and attend required Center and Health Services meetings.
