What you'll do
- Prepare information for patient visits
- greet, room, and interview patients
- relay intake information to providers
- accompany providers during exams and transcribe chart information
- assist with patient education and procedure instructions
- return patient calls
- document interactions in the electronic medical record
- assist with patient transfers
- provide after-care instructions
- and coordinate follow-up plans and scheduling.
