Material Handler/Driver

Job overview

The Material Handler/Driver role is onsite in Long Beach, CA, with pay of $28–$39 per hour. Divergent designs, manufactures, and assembles advanced systems for automotive, aerospace, and defense customers. The role supports production, prototype, and engineering vehicle build teams by ensuring materials are picked, kitted, received, tracked, and delivered accurately and on time. It also handles local pickups and drop-offs and supports warehouse operations as demand changes.

What you'll do

• Complete inventory transactions for parts moving to and from third-party locations
• package, secure, document, and protect transported materials
• perform local pickups and drop-offs and track mileage and time
• receive inventory in the ERP system
• maintain inventory counts and locations
• conduct cycle counts
• track stock levels
• kit materials for production
• receive and distribute parts
• package and stage finished goods
• operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or scissor lifts.
