Materials Manager

Job overview

The Materials Manager role is onsite in Maumee, OH, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and potential minimal after-hours work. Compensation is not specified. METAL FORMING & COINING LLC's materials team supports production planning and manufacturing operations. The manager plans and schedules production around customer demand, staffing, material availability, equipment, and capacity. The role coordinates material planning, develops operating plans, improves use of the Plex system, and leads the Materials Team to support reliable production execution.

What you'll do

• Analyze customer releases in Plex and prepare weekly production schedules
• develop monthly operating plans for tooling, labor, materials, and revenue expectations
• coordinate with the Materials Planner on incoming raw materials and outside processing
• support safety, continuous improvement, and environmental initiatives
• implement applicable Plex modules
• monitor customer portals
• lead and manage the Materials Team.

Why this role

Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or equivalent education and experience; minimum five years of related scheduling, planning, or manufacturing leadership experience. APICS certification and high-volume manufacturing or automotive experience preferred.
