The RN provides and manages patient care during assigned shifts, using the nursing process to assess patients, implement care plans, educate patients, document care, and coordinate or supervise other caregivers. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts on variable weekdays, 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., with approximately three to four mandatory scheduled call days per month.

What you'll do

• Assess patients’ physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status
• implement care plans
• identify and address patient learning needs
• document care
• delegate and supervise caregivers
• prioritize care
• and, when required, function as Charge Nurse. Perioperative duties include surgery care. Obtain ACLS and PALS or PEARS certifications and complete moderate sedation training within six months of hire
• CNOR is preferred.
