What you'll do

• Manage criminal defense matters from consultation through disposition and post-disposition work as assigned
• review charges, discovery, evidence, and procedural history
• develop case strategies
• conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and memoranda
• represent clients at bond hearings, pretrial proceedings, plea hearings, trials, and sentencing
• negotiate with prosecutors
• advise clients on options and potential outcomes
• prepare clients and witnesses
• coordinate with investigators, experts, and support staff
• maintain case records and meet court and filing deadlines
• identify potential immigration consequences and coordinate with immigration counsel when appropriate.

Why this role
