The Registered Nurse, Correctional Health — Night Shift role is onsite in Boulder, CO, with compensation of $46.00–$50.50 per hour. The schedule is 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. on a 36/48 rotation. The nurse provides care to patients in a correctional facility while supporting facility security. The nurse assesses patient health needs, responds to routine medical issues and emergencies, administers prescribed treatments, and coordinates care with the healthcare team. The role also supports safe clinical operations through documentation, patient education, appropriate delegation, and adherence to facility security and confidentiality requirements.

What you'll do

• Assess new inmates and identify health problems
• initiate medical records and special-needs requests
• respond to medical issues and emergencies
• administer prescribed treatments and medications
• prepare equipment, records, and rooms for examinations
• maintain IV therapies as needed
• review services with the Health Services Administrator
• follow emergency and CPR procedures
• use standard medical equipment safely
• delegate tasks appropriately
• educate patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Why this role
