The Registered Dietitian, Skilled Nursing Facility, Part-Time (50% Remote) role is hybrid, with onsite and remote work supporting a skilled nursing facility in Tacoma, WA. The dietitian assesses residents’ nutrition needs, develops individualized care plans, and recommends interventions for residents with varied clinical conditions. The role supports resident health and facility care through documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, nutrition education, and regulatory support.

What you'll do

• Complete nutrition assessments, reassessments, and follow-ups
• identify residents at nutritional risk and recommend interventions
• monitor residents with weight changes, pressure injuries, altered skin integrity, poor intake, enteral nutrition, renal disease, diabetes, and other conditions
• review clinical information
• develop and update nutrition care plans
• recommend therapeutic diets and supplements
• communicate with the interdisciplinary team
• document in the electronic medical record
• participate in care-plan and clinical meetings
• provide nutrition education
• collaborate with food service and facility staff
• support regulatory compliance and survey preparation as needed.

Why this role
