Job overview

The Associate Medical Director, Regulatory Management role is remote for eligible U.S. residents, excluding Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Wyoming, and U.S. territories; occasional travel is required. The base pay is $216,108–$283,642 per year. The role joins Oscar’s Clinical Affairs team, supporting its health plan and member-focused mission. The position leads clinical regulatory programs and credentialing operations, translating regulatory requirements into policy and process improvements that support a compliant provider network, efficient onboarding, and member access.

What you'll do

  • Lead the Clinical Policy Compliance team and Clinical Coding Center of Excellence
  • develop clinical regulatory policies, benefit interpretation policies, and SOPs
  • chair credentialing, peer review, and population health subcommittees
  • oversee practitioner and facility credentialing
  • partner on provider onboarding and network gaps
  • improve clinical review operations, audits, and workflows
  • monitor regulatory developments and implement operational updates.
