Powder Coating Operator

Job overview

The Powder Coating Operator role is onsite in Mentor, OH. Pay is $17–$20 per hour. The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6 AM–4:30 PM. The role performs hands-on powder coating and finishing work with attention to quality, safety, and craftsmanship. The operator prepares and coats parts, checks finish quality, and maintains equipment and a safe work area. Accurate coating and inspection help produce consistent finished parts and support production requirements.

What you'll do

• Pretreat, clean, mask, prime, and powder coat parts
• load and hang parts to maximize line capacity
• apply powder with an electrostatic paint gun
• perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
• manage hanging patterns and color changeovers
• plug, tape, sand, and correct parts
• use measuring tools
• maintain a clean and safe work area
• clean, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment
• follow safety policies and OSHA standards.
