Order Specialist

The Order Specialist role is onsite in Chicago, IL. Pay is $17.00–$17.50 per hour. The specialist supports The Container Store’s customer order management and stockroom operations. The role helps ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and on time for pickup or local delivery, while keeping the stockroom organized and safe. Customer follow-up and coordination with store managers support a reliable customer experience and the store’s sales efforts.

What you'll do

• Pull and prepare customer orders for pickup
• evaluate daily order quantities to support curbside pickup and local delivery
• complete daily tasks on time
• communicate with customers and resolve order issues
• organize and maintain the stockroom
• maintain and down-stock the Elfa product area
• audit order locations
• update staging locations and Elfa pull sequence
• review product-not-arriving-as-expected reports
• help develop an efficient order processing team
• support sales goals and the sales floor
• engage customers to address organizational needs.
